As a second-generation Filipino-American born in the US, I've had a hard time understanding my personal connection to the Philippines. When I hit my late 20's, I suddenly became more interested in learning about my Filipino identity, so I went to the Philippines with my parents and brought a video camera. I'm currently editing the footage into a feature documentary called Home Unknown.
